Thanks Jay – especially liked the pithy comment “persistence has a short shelf life”. Here’s something that inspires me too (found on Facebook, so it’s probably done the rounds quite a bit):

The challenges you encounter can be taken as stumbling blocks or stepping stones. How you see them is your choice.
