Who is Jay Kubassek?

First off, my name is Jay Kubassek (some folks tend to misspell it as “Jay Kubasek”) and I love what I do.  I have a great life which has changed drastically the past four years.  Four years ago I was a “muffler salesman” at a Midas franchise and now I work off of my laptop while traveling with my beautiful fiancée Jamie (Just so you know, I recently asked her to marry me on June 5, 2009 in Los Angeles after an amazing dinner. She shrieked and said, “Yes.”  It was very exciting.)

But anyway, recently I have successfully launched my own Indie film enterprise called Aliquot Films and I love to produce.  I feel very privileged to be able to produce, given my love for film.

I am also an owner of six companies, a professional speaker and trainer, and international real estate developer/investor.  And in 2007 I launched my internet based education company called Carbon Copy Pro.  I started it in order to earn a little extra income but it has quickly grown into a very successful and very large business, spreading into over 100 countries.

2008, my elephant polo team won silver medal in the World Elephant Polo Association championships in southern Nepal.  That was also quite an accomplishment for me.   Enough with all the boring work stuff though: I am also an extreme sport enthusiast and gear-head, and member of the US National Elephant Polo team (yes, that wasn’t a typo, I literally ride atop an elephant).  In December,

Also, in 2008 I raced in one of the most grueling, long, and dangerous off-road races in the world called the Baja 1000.  It was such a great experience and I am proud to say that I actually finished the race, unlike 85% of the other racers.

Although all I have talked about is myself, I Jay Kubassek, do everything I can in order to help others.  I am a big advocate of giving and help others in need and have many organizations which I support including The Name Campaign in Africa, The Children’s Institute for Autism, The Tracy McGrady Basketball Camp, Mount Sinai Juvenile Diabetes, and The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
